Sustainable Process Improvement is a fully funded programme of support for small and medium sized businesses that want to reduce their costs, stay competitive, and meet current environmental legislation such as the new Scottish waste regulation.
Delivered by the Crichton Carbon Centre, the Sustainable Process Improvement programme will work businesses to review their operations, identifying opportunities for implementing or improving resource efficiency business practice.
Recently completed research is suggesting that the SPI programme yields positive results in guiding SMEs towards sustainable and profitable business models. Based on the Parker model environmental business strategy, the majority of SPI clients had improved their business performance and significantly more were ‘advantage driven’ – the optimum business type, by the end of the programme.
