The Sustainable Process Improvement (SPI) programme provided businesses with support worth £3,000 in software and services costs. Funded by the private, public and third sector, SPI was provided free of charge. All that was required from businesses was a commitment to become more resource efficient and some of their time.
Who could register?
The programme was aimed Small and Medium-sized Enterprise (SMEs) employing between 10-49 people and are located across the Lowlands and Uplands of Scotland (LUPS) 1. It has two different levels of support depending on location:
1. SMEs based in Dumfries & Galloway, West Dunbartonshire and North Ayrshire could apply directly for the SPI programme.
2. SMEs based outside Dumfries & Galloway, West Dunbartonshire and North Ayrshire could sign up for our quarterly hot topics bulletin containing current information on funding and support available for Scottish SMEs to develop in a sustainable, resource efficient way.
1 Broadly is all of Scotland excluding the Highlands and Islands but including Moray and parts of Argyll &Bute.
